Currently beginning a new series of work influenced by the Remarkable's Range in Queenstown, New Zealand.

I spent a lot of time in this unique area exploring the lay of the land, tarns and experiencing the surrounding wildlife.

While setting up camp the evening sun peeked through the clouds and I was able to capture this through my camera. It was fascinating seeing how the light fell on the different landforms creating long shadows and soft colours.

I am loving the soft neutrals in this work, the ochres and umbers.
