Spent today building up some new layers in this painting.
This scene is part of my current series "Valley Revisit" where I am inspired by the Rangitata River near Canterbury.
This view looks up towards the Lawrence Valley where I spent a couple of nights, one at Lawrence hut and one at the Lawrence Biv, a bit further up the valley.
