The Remarkables can be seem from Queenstown central. The evening light luminates the steep rocky peaks, so unique and wild.
I was intrigued as to what lay behind and amongst this mountain range. Hiking up through the rocky terrain, suddenly the Wye Creek basin appeared. I needed to capture this scene in the evening light. Shadows and light playing amongst the landforms.
So much beauty so close to Queenstown.
