A recent trip down past Twizel, New Zealand and west of Lake Ohau I entered into the Hopkins Valley. One of the most beautiful valleys in New Zealand. Being winter, the mountains were capped in fresh snow, the braided river cold and fresh as I travelled up the valley. Around every corner in this once glacier filled valley, a fresh perspective towered over me, making me in awe of this place.
