A remarkable time up the Remarkabales!
After moving down to Queenstown from Nelson in November 2020 I have been making the most of getting out into the wilderness that surrounds Queenstown.
The Remarkables mountain range can be seen from the town centre of Queenstown. Often the low evening light luminates the rugged steep rocky peaks highlighting how wild they are.
Recently I was able to tramp up to an area behind the Remarkables and came across some beautiful sub alpine tarns. I waited out the day to capture the evening light cascading across the landscape. After a night spent in the tent I was also able to capture the different angle of the early morning light as it warmed up my bones!
