Kelliher Art Trust Touring Landscape Exhibition

Some of you may remember in 2019 the Kelliher Art Trust commissioned a painting from me.
"From 2015 the Trust has annually commissioned a painting by an emerging landscape painter as a way of honouring Sir Henry’s original objective to encourage the painting of New Zealand landscape. Amongst these are works by Freeman White, Aroha Gossage, Caroline Bellamy and Rosanne Croucher".
It was a great project where I was able to capture some of Canterbury's iconic landscape in my work. The light, colours and vast river + valley systems of Canterbury.
The Kelliher Trust landscape exhibition is currently on tour around New Zealand.
I recently visited the The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi o Whakatū in Nelson where the exhibition is on from March 5th to May 22nd 2022. ONE more week left to view in NELSON!
It was fantastic to see such a wide range of landscape paintings, right back from the mid 1900s.
The exhibition will then travel down to Arrowtown Muesum, Queenstown.
