The Hopkins valley is located near Twizel in the south Island of New Zealand. It is accessed through Lake Ohau and beyond near the main divide of the south where the east coast meets the west. Camping high in the valley I awoke to this stunning view looking east down the valley, the first morning rays highlighting this beautiful landscape.
